Sales and Marketing Territory Manager
30 year established automotive business in St. Albans, WV, is seeking the following:
Job Summary: The Sales and Marketing Territory Manager must possess exceptional territory management skills to cold call on automobile dealers with the goal to develop profitable new business. They must also be able to maintain relationships with existing customers and continue to increase commissionable sales opportunities from them. We are seeking a goal oriented “hunter” capable of working with management to develop, then effectively execute, a defined sales and growth strategy. Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies and procedures are always followed. This position will require travel within designated territories to assist and develop relationships. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop new business.
- Increase consignment from current customers.
- Quickly builds strong relationships with contacts at all levels, especially with decision makers.
- Develop quotations and contract proposals that are responsive to customer’s needs.
- Understands and keeps up to date on the competitive environment and provides market intelligence to sales to help shape strategies.
- Other duties as assigned by upper management.
Educational requirements and qualifications Two (2) years of proven success in sales required with previous experience with previous cold calling a plus. Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be detail oriented and organized. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Automotive industry knowledge is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
