Now Hiring - ZL Technologies - Information Technology Senior Sales Engineer in Milpitas, CA

ZL Technologies is seeking a high-calibre Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to act as a subject matter expert technical resource to our sales staff and partners in their interactions with large enterprise accounts. This is a largely customer facing role.

Responsibilities

• Act as a pre-sales technical resource to sales staff, partners and customers
• Understand and translate large enterprise customers’ business needs into technology solutions
• Work with ZL's engineering team to map the best solution for the client’s environment
• Lead product demonstrations
• Respond to RFPs and RFIs
• Create customized training sessions, documents, and guides per customers’ use cases
• Travel to customer sites and meetings as required.
• Represent ZL Technologies at industry trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and other events.

Requirements

You will need:

• A substantial and successful track record in a pre-sales technical role for a software vendor or partner.
• Experience of working with data management software and/or adjacent complex technologies.
• A good understanding of enterprise IT concepts and processes.
• The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical contacts.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivation and resilience
• A creative and results-oriented mindset
• Experience with Relational Databases and SQL is desirable
