Position Summary:

Responsible for growing the revenue of a service line by effectively developing and implementing marketing strategies; selling the service line; and managing & growing customer relationships.

Position Key Accountabilities:

1. Provides overall leadership for the department's business development function.
2. Leads strategy development and marketing efforts to penetrate into, or expand presence in targeted markets.
3. Conducts research related to market, product/service, and customers.
4. Identifies customer prospects and initiates contact with targeted accounts.
5. Conducts customer needs assessments and prepares and delivers presentations/proposals.
6. Maintains comprehensive, technical understanding of product/service offering.
7. Generates new business sales by effectively demonstrating the value of product/service to the customer.
8. Manages complex contract negotiations.
9. Manages customer relationships on an on-going basis, ensuring alignment between customer needs and delivered services, and delivering outstanding customer care.
10. Manages operations related to delivery of services and facilitates timely resolution of customer issues/problems.
11. Continually looks for ways to enhance revenue generation opportunities and increase operational efficiency of service delivery.
12. Manages various service support staff.
13. Manages Human Resources activities for direct reports in regards to: recruiting and selection, hiring and termination, training, professional development, mentoring, counseling, performance evaluations, and salary planning.
14. Other duties as assigned
