Express Produce - Produce Territory Sales Consultant in Sioux Falls, SD
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motived sales individual looking to grow a local territory within the greater Sioux Falls area to include all establishments within approximately 50 miles of the city. As a Produce Territory Sales Consultant for Express Produce, you will call on a variety of current and potential clients to include restaurants, cafeterias, hotels, schools, and long-term care facilities and more to provide fresh produce for their business needs while growing the business and brand of Express Produce. We are looking for a focused, motivated sales and customer service driven individual.
Responsibilities:
- Grow sales
- Identify, contact & open new account & business opportunities.
- Monitor and follow up on new accounts.
- Maintain and exceed sales results, initiatives, and targets.
- Actively manage the prospects and growth of Express produce.
- Manage Relationships & Communication
- High level of commination with customers, warehouse, and General Manager.
- Handling customer interactions and concerns quickly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Maintain strong relations with customers, warehouse, and team.
- Presentations to accounts and General Manger in virtual and face to face meetings.
- Administration and Strategy
- Contribute in the planning and vision for future growth.
- Report and update weekly on activity status.
- Performing administrative tasks, such as e-mails, follow up with customer-related questions or tasks, and tracking of targets.
- Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle including product support and sales.
Experience & Requirements:
- 2 plus years in related field
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Computer skills. Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Reliable mode of transportation required with a good driving history

- A passion for produce and experience in selling produce.
