Frank Beer Distributors in Middleton, WI is now hiring for a Bilingual Sales Representative. The Bilingual Sales Representative will establish and maintain professional sales relationships with key Hispanic accounts within the assigned territory(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Make regularly scheduled sales calls to designated accounts
  • Secure and expand distribution in assigned account base
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with on and/or off-premise accounts
  • Assist customers with inventory management (product availability, new product placement, stock rotation, promotions, sales trends)
  • Merchandise, stock and rotate product at each account
  • Responsible for money collections on outstanding invoices. Keep up to date on customer credit status
  • Maintain knowledge of product portfolio and promotions
  • Exhibit discipline and resourcefulness to meet/exceed assigned monthly quotas and distribution objectives
  • Participate in sales meetings and on-site trainings
  • Interact respectfully and maintain communication with inter-company departments (merchandisers and delivery drivers) and suppliers
  • Flexibility in hours which include early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
  • Adaptability and ability to assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality types on a daily basis
  • Monitor inventory to maintain proper amount based on sales trends, promotions, seasonal changes, and new product placement
  • Utilize point of sale materials, build displays, merchandise shelves, menu cards and permanent signage
  • Conduct staff trainings as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education and Experience:

  • Must be bilingual with Spanish and English
  • High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Two years previous sales experience in related field (distribution, hospitality, supplier or beverage industry) preferred
  • Sales Relief Representative experience preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as persuasion skills
  • Excellent inter-personal skills; friendly, personable, and approachable
  • Ability to work with and communicate with all levels of the organization including merchandisers and delivery team
  • Ability to read and write in English, bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Goal oriented, focused, and assertive
  • Strong knowledge of beer industry and its retail consumers is preferred
  • Intermediate computer skills are required (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Other:

  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance is required
  • Ability to acquire and maintain necessary liquor sales persons permit
  • Ability to acquire and maintain any other permits, licenses, etc... that may be required by the Company
  • May need to work evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 160 pounds on an occasional basis
  • Use arms, wrists, hands, grasp, reach
