Now Hiring - DEKA Research and Development - Manufacturing Business Development Associate in Manchester, NH

This position will be part of the business development team at DEKA R&D Corp., the iconic technology skunkworks led by inventor and entrepreneur Dean Kamen. While DEKA’s primary business is the development of breakthrough medical products in partnership with major pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers; DEKA also develops products related to autonomous robotics, cleantech, and consumer products.

How will you make an impact?

• Support the development of relationships with new product development partners and support the maintenance of relationships with existing partners
• Market research related to new products, including data analysis, financial statement analysis, secondary source research, and interviews
• Company research related to potential partners for new products
• Preparation of presentations and briefing packages for internal and external audiences

What you will need to be successful:

• Master’s degree in Business Management
• 3-5 years of fulltime work experience
• Experience with market research or client relations
• Impeccable judgment and discretion
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent research skills (rapid but detail-oriented)
• Demonstrated aptitude for analytics
• Clear, concise writing skills
• Must be comfortable in a demanding environment with tight deadlines
• Ability to learn new skills quickly and work independently
• Proficiency with word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, and database software
• Demonstrated passion for technology, experience with technology-driven businesses a plus
