Full description of the position

Are you an experienced sales professional seeking a dynamic opportunity with a leading hospitality group? Prime Hospitality Investment & Management Group (PHMI Group) is currently looking for an accomplished Dual Brand Sales Manager to join our team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving new business opportunities and exceeding revenue targets for our hotels.

Responsibilities:

- Create new business opportunities to achieve budgeted room revenue for specific market segments, focusing on securing new volume accounts while nurturing existing ones.

- Stay abreast of market and industry trends, strategically utilizing this knowledge in planning and decision-making processes.

- Cultivate a strong network and actively participate in relevant conferences and events to expand the reach and influence of our business.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of five years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality field, with a proven track record of success.

- Franchise experience in the industry is highly desirable.

- Exceptional attention to detail and professional demeanor, coupled with outstanding sales techniques.

- Ability to meet or exceed budgeted goals in alignment with the high standards of PHMI Group, IHG, and Marriott.

Additional Requirements:

- Demonstrated expertise in sales and catering, preferably with a minimum of five years of experience in these areas.

- Strong ability to identify and capture new business opportunities.

- Proven project management skills with a capacity to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Negotiate and generate contracted revenues from volume prospects, aligning with the hotel's business plan.

- Act as a lead generator for the property, supporting the sales process and developing new business opportunities.

- Represent PHMI Group in a professional and hospitable manner to clients, guests, and business partners.

- Ensure all actions and transactions adhere to legal and ethical standards.

- Monitor, measure, and provide guidance on all accounts.

- Keep the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Directors of Sales informed through regular updates.

- Collaborate effectively with IHG/Marriott to ensure the proper utilization of company and brand standards and programs.

- Empowered to prioritize total guest satisfaction, consistently displaying hospitality and professionalism.

- Maintain accurate reporting using Monthly Sales Templates, Customer Contact Expectations, and Action Plan follow-up.

- Actively participate in budgeting, forecasting, and expense management to achieve company expectations.

- Perform Sales Audits to ensure accuracy in property management systems, sales and catering software systems, and general reporting.

- Exceed customer expectations through excellent customer service and teamwork.

- Provide extensive sales support to property General Managers and Directors of Sales, recognized as the sales leader by PHMI Group.

- Maintain effective communication with the Corporate office within the region.

- Participate in yield management meetings to optimize sales volume and profitability.

- Develop and execute plans, special sales activities, and promotions aligned with the hotel's business plan.

- Conduct market analysis to understand client needs, occupancy potential, desired rates, and more.

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to business booked in the hotel.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
