New Business Sales

• Identify and develop new business leads through a variety of sources including:
  • Commercial, Employee Benefits, and M3 Financial AEs
  • Asking for referrals from clients
  • Developing a marketing plan
• Prequalify insurance prospects for insurability and quality of risk.
• Analyze clients’ personal lines coverage needs, design insurance plans and recommend coverages to clients.
• Complete applications; obtain signatures and related documentation for submission to appropriate insurance markets.
• Educate clients concerning agency payment expectations and cancellation procedures.
• Explain purchased coverages to clients.
• Actively solicit increases in coverage or rounding out of accounts through sales to clients as appropriate.

Retention and Continuous Marketing

• Maintain accurate account level information in agency management system (Epic).
• Work with clients to ensure limit and coverage adequacy; build long-lasting relationships.
• Work with Personal Insurance & Wealth Preservation Account Managers with client retention and marketing efforts.

Personal & Organizational Development

• Participate in sales meetings.
• Effectively manage workload, appointments and monthly sales goals in an organized fashion.
• Understand agency policy and procedures and customer service standards.
• Maintain positive relationships with other M3 employees and insurance companies
