Property Manager (Affordable Housing - LITHC)

We are currently hiring for a dynamic Property Manager to oversee the financial and operational performance of a multifamily property. The ideal candidate will have a background in property management, business administration, or leasing. The manager will have experience with complex multifamily property operations and have the ability to manage staff and oversee operations.

Responsibilities

Manage the financial performance of the property by overseeing rents, occupancies, expenditures and profits

• Interacts directly with prospective residents and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy.
• Processes rental applications, prepare lease agreement and move-in documents.
• Coordinates move-ins and move-outs with the resident, maintenance staff, and vendors.
• Facilitate the renewal and recertification process for all program participants.
• Collect, deposit, post, track and manage delinquency of rental and other income.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and federal, state, and local laws.
• Build strong resident relations and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain property appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on a timely basis.
• Schedule the turnover of apartments and oversee the maintenance work orders are performed in a timely manner
• Administer a fair and impartial treatment to all tenants
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or sales with residential properties preferred

• Strong knowledge of residential real estate market trends, practices, and opportunities
• Comprehensive knowledge of real estate market research (including market survey data)
• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
