VP Racing Fuels, one of the premier racing fuel companies in the world, is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Regional Sales Manager to grow VP's branded gasoline stations within the assigned region. The role offers the ability to not only lead development in the assigned region, but also be actively involved in the business decisions of the company by interacting with upper management in marketing, strategies, and other forward-thinking measures. The position reports to the Vice President of Branded Retail. The right candidate will have a friendly and energetic personality and be extremely coachable.

Regional Sales Manager responsibilities include establishing customer needs and successfully leading them to our unique branding solutions, identifying new ways for the sales team to win more business opportunities, and learning and demonstrating effective influencing skills that lead to higher deal closure rates. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication abilities, a desire to be part of a winning team and be highly motivated to meet sales goals. Ultimately, you will be instrumental in helping grow our customer base and establish our reputation in your assigned region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop prospects and present the VP retail gasoline station branded program to the prospects to grow the brand in the territory
  • Work with marketing to coordinate marketing activities in the region to maximize potential
  • Develop and promote customer relationships throughout the sales process
  • Work with customers to implement imaging and other programs offered by VP
  • Coordinating with other divisions, such as consumer products and race fuel, to maximize sales and exposure for all divisions.
  • Identify and influence fuel distributors and/or convenience store owners to join the VP retail gasoline station branded program and grow our site count. Negotiate using a give-get approach and maximize the margin for VP Racing.
  • Assist existing fuel distributors in their efforts to grow the VP-branded retail network.
  • Champion and use Salesforce.com (CRM) to accomplish many of your sales duties
  • Work closely with the internal marketing department to coordinate lead generation and marketing activities to maximize potential
  • Be a point of contact for existing and potential customers within the assigned region
  • Identify business opportunities and challenges and suggest efficient and effective solutions
  • Present our products and services to prospective customers, build awareness about our company
  • Work in close contact with other salespeople and other internal teams to meet individual and group sales quotas, and brainstorm in a combined effort to set goals. Share best practices and be willing to help others on the team win
  • Generate and provide reports as may be required by the Vice President of Branded Retail
  • Answer customer queries about features, pricing, and additional services
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell all VP products
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

Education and Experience:

  • Sales, Business, or a Marketing Bachelor's Degree from a four (4) year accredited University
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

  • None.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Required to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility.
  • May be subject to sitting for long periods of time to perform job scope.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:


  • Location of position: VP East Remote
  • May work in Field / Race Environment
  • Travel is required at times
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required
  • Background checks and drug tests required
  • Work will generally be performed in an office environment.
  • May be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils.
  • May be required to work hours other than the regular schedule.
