Sales Specialist, National Accounts
Tayse is a rapidly growing machine-made area rug and furniture wholesaler in Calhoun, GA serving mass merchants, e-commerce giants and over 2,200 independent retailers with 15,000+ SKUs. Tayse operates out of its 300,000+ square feet distribution center in Calhoun, GA.
We are looking for a Sales Specialist to support our National Accounts Department. This department owns the retail sales to big chain stores and mid-sized independent retailers. The department is led by the company CEO. The ideal candidate is expected to have an excellent problem-solving attitude, strong organizational and time management skills.
Key Accountabilities:
- Undertake daily tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s sales activities and strategy.
- Identify and establish contact with potential business to business (B2B) customers in North America.
- Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing B2B customers.
- Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
- Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographics.
- Provide accurate and quick response for customer and sales requests.
- Keep all details/form/platforms organized with updated data/files.
- Pro-actively communicate with buyers to ensure their needs are understood and addressed.
- Build strong buyer/customer relationships to maintain and grow our business.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of corporate sales experience required.
- 2+ years of business development experience desired.
- 3+ years of flooring industry experience desired.
- Excellent problem-solving skills is necessary.
- Strong organizational and time management skills necessary.
- Experience in Acumatica ERP system is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel required.
- MS Office Suite, Google Drive, DropBox, FTP and social media platforms experience needed
- Self-motivated and disciplined team player.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work on the weekends on an as-needed basis.
