ERM is seeking an experienced EHS Compliance professional, preferably with Technology industry experience, to join our growing Sustainable Operations team in Ohio. We are looking for someone with 8+ years of consulting experience to help us deliver technically excellent projects, and grow our Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability business.
As a senior leader, you will be responsible for representing ERM with new and existing clients in a range of EHS management projects to build business locally, while networking with ERM's global technical team to share best practices across the industry. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Contribute to expanding ERM’s EHS business in the Midwestern US by identifying and developing new opportunities, preparing effective technical proposals, and taking an active leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clients.
  • Manage multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
  • Support business development and delivery of a range of EHS projects, including in areas such as:
  • EHS compliance assessments and audits to ensure effective risk control and regulatory compliance.
  • Development and delivery of plans, permits, and procedures for EHS permitting and compliance programs.
  • Lead, manage performance, hire and retain, inspire and mentor personnel for overall success of technical team.
  • Build a network within and outside of ERM that will enable you to leverage your skills and solve challenging multi-disciplinary client challenges.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Passion around EHS performance improvement with substantial experience developing and delivering world-class EHS program solutions.
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in engineering, safety, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years relevant experience in working with organizations on EHS management, leadership/culture, and/or sustainable EHS compliance programs.
  • 5+ years experience in consulting including identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, developing client relationships, growing EHS programs.
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills; experience writing comprehensive technical reports and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to travel in support of client programs.
  • CSP, PE, or similar registration highly desirable.
