The Position:
We are looking for eager, driven candidates with experience in people management, communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and analysis to guide our teams in developing impactful solutions for the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This work support the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) in the enhancement of their project management of research programs. In this role, the Change Management Consultant will assist in the rollout of a cloud-based project management software and ensure successful implementation of new organizational processes. Some responsibilities include:
- Aspects of Change Management for the application roll-out and the people side of change associated with a new project management culture for the organization.
- Training curriculum design and development and evaluation of the training materials.
- Basic understanding of graphic design and data visualization to assist in the development of materials needed by the Change Management team.
- Support the implementation of the new project management processes associated with the application.
Training Support
- Perform a needs assessment for software training relative to identified stakeholder groups.
- Develop and review training materials, including, but not limited to, role-based user guides and reference sheets and FAQs.
- Evaluate the user interface to identify usability issues and needed inline help features, e.g., tooltip text.
- Conduct training evaluations and advise the COR of needed improvements.
Engagement and Communication
- Develop communication plans, including target messages, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Develop and refine a communication strategy, prioritizing the people side of change, while accounting for mission and timeframes.
- Develop targeted e-mail communications to staff, implementation plans and calendars; conduct communication reviews and evaluations.
- Identify strategy-based metrics and define an approach to capture and report these metrics.
- Provide expertise, knowledge, and guidance on organizational Change Management best practices across the impacted stakeholders.
Presentation Support
- Develop presentation outlines, templates, and innovative graphic presentation materials, e.g., PowerPoint slide decks.
- Assist in the design of communications and visualizations tailored to specific stakeholder groups.
- Maintain a calendar of upcoming presentations.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant area
- MA/MS preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Change Management principles, practice, and tools.
- Experience with business process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with instructional design, training management, and facilitation.
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Visio, Microsoft 365 (M365) applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in the design, development of visualizations related to Change Management.
- Experience working a consulting/professional services, client facing role, preferably in the public sector supporting federal clients.
- Understanding of the requirements, environmental factors, organizations, activities, constraints, risks, and motivations impacting federal clients.
- Strong creative problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
The Location:
Censeo Consulting Group is based in Washington D.C., a fantastic city for working professionals. We work in a hybrid setting with flexibility to work from home and work in our office conveniently located in the heart of downtown, just a few blocks away from the White House. And with many of our clients also based in D.C., we have the luxury of leaving for a meeting and being back in the office in time for post-work happy hours, team dinners, and game nights.

- Expected travel 0-10%; may increase based on business needs
- This is an exempt, full-time position
