Compensation: $160,000
McKinley Equipment sells, installs and services top of the line equipment in the supply chain / warehousing industry. Our sales team is made up of industry experts with strong mechanical and construction aptitude who build relationships to successfully grow their territory. This sales position is base salary plus unlimited commission. Our best salespeople routinely earn over $160k annually. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and a 401k.
Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities:
- Building your territory and relationships through a combination of customer meetings, phone calls, drop-in visits, and more.
- Sell service contracts, aftermarket equipment, and replacement equipment to your end-user customer base
- Diligent follow up on your open opportunities
- Searching for new opportunities with the end-user
- Handling incoming customer calls and emails requesting service estimates. Including qualifying pricing and quoting.
- Be responsible and accountable for your own performance and continued growth and development
- Qualifying and quoting equipment and/or service generated from follow-up calls on end-users and new equipment installations
- Be accessible and respond to incoming calls from customers, installers and senior sales reps relating to service jobs and new jobs being installed in your territory
- Scheduling and performing operator training with the end-user
- Update and maintain accurate data in our CRM [please apply online] Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting and walking
- Frequent telephone, must be able to speak and hear well enough to communicate with others
- Must be able to see well enough to read the computer screen, drawings, etc.
- Grasping/Feeling: must be able to write, type, manipulate a mouse and use telephone system
- Ability to think and process information quickly, clearly and accurately
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of outside B2B account management experience
- Driven to win and takes initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Highly effective in negotiations
- Strong attention to details and accuracy
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledgeable and professional
- Show enthusiasm and demonstrate a positive attitude
- Experienced at diffusing challenging situations and at ease working with customers in pressure situations
- Ability to successfully prioritize and meet deadlines
- Punctual and reliable
- Computer skills and proficiency including Microsoft office and other cloud based products
- Skilled at multitasking
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong numeracy / mathematical skills
