Cisco Security is revolutionizing Cyber Risk with a SaaS-based Vulnerability and Exploit Intelligence platform that accurately measures risk and prioritizes remediation efforts before an attacker can exploit an organization’s weaknesses. Only Kenna offers a solution that automates the correlation of customer vulnerability data, exploit and zero-day data, analyzing security vulnerabilities against active Internet breaches.
Position Summary
We are looking for a hungry, driven, and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to add to its growing sales and marketing organization. It’s the perfect job for someone early in their career who wants to break into the fast-growing cyber security industry and pursue a dynamic career with many possibilities for career progression.
You have a background that demonstrates your success in being competitive, hard-working, and goal-oriented. You are fascinated by technology (even tech that you don’t use yourself). In this role, you will be responsible for generating new opportunities, handling inbound sales inquiries, following up on marketing campaigns and collaborating with our sales team to build our pipeline. This is a chance to create an immediate impact and be rewarded accordingly; we offer a highly competitive salary plus bonuses.
Key responsibilities:
* Prospect into accounts within your territory and find leads to qualify for your Enterprise Sales counterpart
* Email, call, and send LinkedIn messages in order to meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly goals, to fill the pipeline with well qualified sales opportunities
* Handle inbound inquiries and lead management
* Conduct high level conversations with mid and senior level executives in the security space
* Explaining the value proposition of Kenna’s solution offerings
* Learn, get better, hit your goals, and raise your game-each and every day
Desired skills & experience:
* Four year university/college degree
* Demonstrable experience and proficiency in high pressure, competitive situations
* Willingness to try new concepts and open to mentoring
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup team environment; you’re a meticulous, innovative, creative problem solver, never satisfied with the status quo
* Passion for technology
* You have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal and a track record of giving successful presentations
* Experience using Salesforce, Outreach.io and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus
* Fluency in German is a plus (but not a necessity or hard requirement)

For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
