We seek a highly motivated Western Sales Manager to promote and grow sales in our western territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads.

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Reports to VP of Sales & Marketing & joining a sales team of 14 energetic individuals.
  • Collaborating with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company's marketing presence in the Western US Territory.
  • Adjust content of sales presentation by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Understands sales pipeline process and utilizes all available resources to turn prospects into customers.
  • Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
  • Recommends changes in products, services, and policy by evaluating results & competitive pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, & etc.
  • Builds and maintains rapport with existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning & organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.

Outside Sales Representative skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline
  • 0-3 years of Sales Experience
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Strong computer skills and understanding CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office software
  • Strong Presentation, Customer Service, Prospecting, Negotiation, and Closing skills
  • Meets Sales Goals; Self-motivational, & comfortable working with little to no direction.
  • Preferably be based in Maine

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
