As the Manager of our Business Development Representatives, you will be responsible for guiding the team that generates new business opportunities by qualifying inbound leads, and prospecting into a targeted list of accounts and creating qualified opportunities for the enterprise sales team. We are looking for someone that has a positive attitude, ambitious personal goals, and a passion for leading our BDRs and preparing them to be the next successful sales professional helping to empower the business of K-12.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the SaaS industry, with a focus on enterprise-level sales.
- Experience in BDR best practices and business processes to generate pipeline.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, market trends, and customer needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate value propositions to clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in KPIs, strategic planning, market analysis, and competitive intelligence.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Leadership abilities with a proven track record in developing and leading high-performing teams.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, and training business development professionals.
- Familiarity with the K-12 education industry, including knowledge of the unique challenges, trends, and regulations within the sector.
- Proven experience working with K-12 institutions, such as school districts, private schools, educational organizations, and state agencies.
- Understanding of educational technology solutions and their application in K-12 environments.
- Experience in managing and leading remote teams.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Sales Loft
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Remote Team Management: Demonstrate experience and proficiency in managing and leading remote business development teams. Implement effective communication strategies, foster a collaborative virtual work environment, and leverage remote collaboration tools to ensure seamless team coordination and productivity.
- Virtual Presentations and Demonstrations: Adapt and excel in delivering virtual presentations, product demonstrations, and sales pitches to remote clients. Utilize technology platforms and multimedia resources to effectively communicate the value of the company's SaaS solutions.
- Remote Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong client relationships remotely, utilizing various communication channels such as video conferencing, email, and phone calls. Provide exceptional customer service and support to remote clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Remote Sales Pipeline Management: Implement efficient remote sales pipeline management processes, utilizing CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions. Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting on sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Remote Collaboration and Team Engagement: Foster a sense of team unity and engagement among remote team members through virtual team-building activities, regular check-ins, and recognition programs. Encourage knowledge sharing, collaboration, and the exchange of best practices within the remote team.
- Remote Learning and Professional Development: Facilitate remote learning opportunities for team members, including virtual training sessions, webinars, and online resources. Encourage continuous learning and professional development to enhance skills and adapt to the evolving remote work environment.
