We are hiring!! The position is for a Sales Professional that enjoys a fun and at times fast-pace environment while providing exceptional service to our customers. Our customers love us, and we love our customers. Our sales team is driven by sales, motivated by serving our customers and enjoy a very lucrative compensation for doing so.

Cox Cactus Farm is a wholesale grower providing quality plant material and exceptional customer service to landscapers, nurseries, resorts, municipalities, and more throughout the Valley and beyond. We are a fast growing company seeking a sales person to support our ongoing sales and marketing efforts. This is a full-time position with compensation based on experience. We offer sales bonuses as incentive, rather than commission.

Daily responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Provide exceptional service throughout the customer’s experience
• Communicating effectively in-person & over the phone to discover the customer’s wants and needs
• Respond in a timely manner to customer inquires and orders via email or phone; provide pricing and availability as well as pictures
• Make daily sales calls to potential and current customers
• Spending time outside in the nursery year-round taking pictures to send to customers as well as helping walk-in customers with plant selection
• Stay abreast of our current plant inventory to speak knowledgeably to customers about quality and availability
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers
• Provide support to the sales team as a whole when needed

Requirements:

• Prior Sales Experience is required, strong sales closing skills while providing exceptional customer service.
• An energetic/motivated self-starter that enjoys the sales process
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Friendly, pleasant, and upbeat
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Represent the company in a courteous and professional manner
• Good organizational skills
• Plant experience is a bonus; we provide exceptional training to set you up for success
• Willingness to learn plant identification within the first 60 days
• Spanish speaking is a bonus
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred
• Complete and pass Criminal Background Check

Schedule: A typical work week is Monday-Friday with seasonal hours from 6am to 2:30pm in the Summer and 7am to 3:30pm in the Winter.
