Full description of the position

The Contract Administrator (CA) will perform work for both the Bid Division and the Negotiated Sales Divisions; however, the CA is a direct report and supervised by the Bid Division manager. The CA shall be responsible for shielding Ford AV from financial risk and legal liability, to include the following: a binding customer contract for every job; ensure customer change orders are accurate, timely and binding; license and insurance requirements; and billing and lien waivers. The CA also insure the security and maintenance of JC legal paperwork. The CA shall negotiate and secure legal agreements for equipment and services. The CA shall monitor the scope of work and identify and secure a CCO (customer change order) if the 'scope of work' performed is expected to exceed the 'scope of work' specified in the contract.

Qualifications:

• Prior Construction Knowledge and/or Experience
• Experience in Electronics Associate’s Degree or Higher
• Prior Management Experience
• Proficient Skills in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Knowledge of Safety and OSHA Regulations
• Prior experience reading blueprints is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Background in Installation, Engineering, and/or Management
