INSIDE SALES REP
- Salary: $60K plus car allowance and up to 20% bonus!
- M-F role (8am-4pm)

The ideal candidate will be able to learn about our capabilities and confidently communicate a narrative in which the customer can understand and relate to. Should this be a good fit, there would be a natural transition into a business development role managing both key accounts and growth accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead follow-up and initial qualification - Confirm interest and potential. Register in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software. Assist Business Development with setting appointments when appropriate.
- Sample packet preparation, tracking, and follow-up –This position would prepare and provide samples of Company's Advanced Materials to existing and potential new customers as requested; ensure the request meets trade compliance regulations, timely follow-up is completed, and coordinate calendars to track and obtain evaluation results.
- Support US sales team members with CRM
- Provide a focal point for customers, touching base routinely, building customer loyalty and enquiring about the possibility of new opportunities. Ensuring inquiries, requested information and samples are processed promptly.
- Responsible for budgeting and forecasting House Accounts.
- Lead generation – Research and prospecting to help identify new business opportunities where Company’s advanced materials and capabilities may be applied. Gain an understanding of the needs of potential customers and provide relevant solutions.
- Support tradeshows and conferences
- Own the team’s budget and ensure shows are scheduled for the current and following fiscal years
- Logistics – shipping of the booth, marketing material and scheduling of required services
- Travel to tradeshows and ensure the team is organized and on schedule
- Start conversations with people walking by
- Understand the US customer base and support the marketing team where needed
- Customer/Prospect Outreach - Coordinate lead follow-up from webinars, tradeshows, and conferences utilizing CRM.
- Ensure that the data in CRM is correct and processes are followed.
- Creates and manages team reports in CRM. Extract required information when necessary. Assist in the compilation of monthly reports.
- Tracking non-disclosure agreements with our customer
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. or B.A Degree with some science and mathematics coursework. Equivalent training/professional experience will be considered
- 2-3 years of business experience, preferably in an industrial/engineering/materials environment.
- Ability to prioritise, interpret, think creatively and plan ahead for contingencies
- An authentic and customer-oriented approach for our new and existing customers
- Positive, self-motivated, and team orientated
- Competent Microsoft Office and CRM Database use and maintenance
