AAA is seeking an ambitious Insurance Branch Agent to join our retail insurance team in Plattsburgh NY! This position is responsible for meeting or exceeding the branch sales goals for insurance policy and client count, number of policies per client and retention while providing outstanding service to new and existing clients. Must be able to manage a disciplined pipeline of opportunities that are provided to them in a timely manner while balancing service expectations of existing insurance customers. The position also requires a resilient individual that is not afraid to generate their own opportunities by engaging with visiting AAA members, internal peers, and outside centers of influence. Must be a person that is able to present solutions to challenges they may face rather than depending on others to fix the problem.

The Primary Duties Are
- Provides advanced technical and product information in response to customer questions and/or problems in accordance with agency policies and procedures
- Sales Educate and actively sell relevant insurance products and services during all appropriate interactions
· Receive phone calls from clients regarding coverage, claims, billing or administrative issues, and work relentlessly to resolve those requests.
· Keep records of all customer interactions and transactions, documenting details of conversations, as well as actions taken
- Prospect and generate referrals
- Sell and promote AAA membership and other Club products and services
- Responsible for effectively closing sales and meeting overall monthly and annual scorecard goals
- Effectively utilize Insurance and AAA systems, following established policies and guidelines to manage and respond to inquiries and issues
- Serve as a liaison with the insurance carrier(s) to ensure timely underwriting of policies and maintain current knowledge of the insurance carriers underwriting guidelines
- Participate in training and testing programs as required
- Follow required processes and workflow on every interaction
- Assist with other projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and be relentless in your professional growth.
· High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
· Must be able to obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license within 6 months of hire.
· Must pass a professional background check
· Familiarity with and follow agency E&O guidelines, follow agency policies, and procedures.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding and often intense environment, which operates on strict deadlines to conduct business.
