Full description of the position

Title: Call Center Sales Supervisor

Reports to:
Senior Manager, Sales
Direct Reports: Onsite, Remote, and Hybrid Sales Consultants
FLSA Status: Exempt
Hours of Work: Scheduled 40 hours within Monday – Saturday, 8am – 6pm.

We are searching for a dedicated, supportive call center leader who can coach and motivate phone sales consultants. The ideal candidate will thrive on developing a world-class sales organization.

Objective:
Working in conjunction with the Senior Manager, Sales and the SVP of the Call Center, the Sales Supervisor meets and exceeds revenue goals for the DTC sales channel by leading, managing, coaching, and developing Inbound Call Center agents to ensure that they are knowledgeable regarding our product offering and sales process and that they effectively sell Journey Health & Lifestyle products to our senior aged consumers.

Main Activities/Responsibilities:
  • Utilizing expertise and knowledge of effective selling processes and our product offering, the Sales Supervisor will educate, motivate, and coach Inbound Sales Consultants to close opportunities within the customer base to meet and exceed revenue
  • Nurture and develop professional relationships with team members, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing coaching plans to ensure consultants interactions with customers are meaningful, represent our brand positively, and drive forward sales initiatives and goals
  • Monitors team members productivity, attendance, sales engagement, and use of sales systems to ensure sales processes and operations are understood and followed. Strives to identify and resolve obstacles to team’s success. Gives prompt and constructive feedback.
  • Manage team members to ensure that they track customer interactions and maintain accurate records within our CRM and lead management tools
  • Utilizing effective listening skills and in an effort to encourage continuous improvement, listen and monitor inbound sales consultants call activity and provide constructive feedback to inbound sales consultants to improve performance and or to improve sales scripting
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and improvement of sales processes, operational initiatives, and strategies to achieve sales metrics
  • Act as a product expert and provide guidance and/or call support on product and sales strategies for inbound sales consultants as needed
  • Collaborates with sales leadership to develop processes and strategies
  • Assist in interviewing, onboarding, and training as needed
  • Take and answer incoming calls from customers and respond to inquiries in a timely manner, as needed
  • Follow-up on customer inquiries and orders as required
  • Provide an excellent and empathetic customer experience while building brand awareness and increasing lifetime value of our customers
  • Achieve sales quotas and other performance metrics
  • Analyze and create reports as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Competencies:
  • Industry expertise preferred
  • Understanding of the sales process and customer base
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated teaching, coaching, and team development required
  • Proficiency with computer programs including but not limited to Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build team rapport
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Education and Experience:
  • Sales management or other leadership experience in a call center required; 3+ years preferred
  • Sales coaching experience preferred
  • Post high school education preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
