Responsibilities

• Demonstrate vehicle features and technology to customers
• Inspect and correct any problems with vehicles prior to delivery
• Maintain up to date product knowledge on vehicles and their features
• Complete Salesperson training
• Ensure the Van Bortel truly exceptional customer experience
• Complete the Customer Relations Management training
• Perform Greeter job duties as needed
• Support Sales staff

Qualifications

• High School diploma required
• 1 - 3 years experience working in a customer service capacity
• Must possess strong organizational skills including the ability to manage projects and details simultaneously
• Must possess the analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solution to various administrative problems, and prioritize work
• Must possess the ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures
• Must possess the ability to create, compose and edit written materials
• Must possess ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports
• Must possess strong written and oral communication skills to interact with customer, vendors and co-workers in a professional and helpful manner in person or via phone or written correspondence
• Must possess the ability to develop, plan and implement short- and long-term goals
• Must possess ability to work productively in a fast paced, stressful environment
