Full description of the position

The Hyatt Place Colorado Springs Downtown is currently looking for a qualified sales coordinator to help oversee the business and group accounts for the hotel. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Responding to special rate inquiries promptly, completing and sending contracts after approval, providing site tours of the hotel, selling and setting up the meeting space, assisting with front desk coverage as needed, visiting business partners as needed to develop or maintain a positive experience with the hotel. This position does require excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day, sit for extended periods of time, spend time on the phone and computer, bend, kneel, squat, climb a step ladder and lift up to 20 pounds independently. Prior hotel experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
