About us

We are an independent pharmacy, family owned in the same neighborhood shopping center since our opening in 1969. Our staff consists of the owner and four employees. Our two non-pharmacist employees have each been working with us for more than 10 years. This job opening is to replace a beloved clerk who recently retired after 13+ years with us.

Part time or full time. Hourly wage could be supplemented with commission-based bonuses for generating sales growth. Most product categories are medical equipment and supplies (walkers, wheelchairs, bath safety items, etc.). Each staff member is well trained and certified. Beyond money earned, the job can be personally gratifying. Medical equipment customers are often emotionally and/or physically distressed. They (or a loved one) are incapacitated. You can calmly reassure them by answering their questions and explaining how our products can help improve their situation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to customers
• Answer incoming phone calls
• Perform other tasks related to the daily operations of the pharmacy
• Work closely with other staff members to provide a great customer experience
• Adhere to all safety procedures
• Maintain a positive attitude

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
