Now Hiring - Outside Sales Representative in Liberty, MO

Metals USA, a steel service center located in Liberty, MO, has a career opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative. This position's main responsibility is to build and maintain our customer base by focusing on meeting customer needs, building relationships and meeting our goal as a custom-driven company. This position develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase the organization's stock sales as well as value-added processing sales. Resolves customer issues, researches and makes recommendations for potential product enhancements or modifications to increase sales. Schedules and performs cold calls and calls to existing customers in assigned territory. Assists in the preparation of sales forecasts, quotes and/or negotiations.

• 2 year degree and/or 3 years experience in direct sales focused on the steel and/or steel processing industry;
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and problem solving skills;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook);
• Good organizational and time management skills
• A valid drivers' license is required.
