The Company:

Suburban Optik, located in Berkeley Heights, is now under New Management! Our office is a fun and friendly team environment with staff and doctors dedicated to providing superior vision care to every patient. We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual for an Optical Sales position.

Position

The position of Optical Sales Associate is a key part of our Optical Team. The candidate will work to serve all patient needs related to eyewear. Previous experience for the Optical Sales Associate position is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing excellent patient service
• Adhere to privacy, confidential and proprietary company policies and procedures (HIPAA)
• Frame styling - assisting patients in choosing the frame that suits them best and determining lens options for optimal visual performance and the right fit for their lifestyle.
• Eyewear adjustment and repair
• Understanding and interpreting pricing
• Communication with Optometrists regarding patient needs and recommendations
• Placing and receiving laboratory orders
• Ensuring all orders arrive and are to the specifications of the patient
• Posts charges and collects payments
• Professional phone etiquette and provide general administrative support
• Maintaining optimal store presentation and show initiative keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized

Job Type: Full Time and Part Time positions available

Compensation: $20 - $28 per hour based on experience
