Full-time Outside Sales Representatives at Mission Steel Fabrication are responsible for servicing and developing existing and prospective customers outside of our offices. We’re seeking professional representatives who are outgoing, driven and have the ability to work alone with little supervision. Mission Steel’s Outside Sales Representatives operate remotely and are offered a base salary with commissions based on experience. This position is for prospective sales representatives looking to service the Greater Los Angeles Area.

Responsibilities

• Service and develop potential customers
• Develop and manage your own schedule for meeting with new and existing customers at their offices, job sites, and industry events.
• Attend industry related trade shows and events
• Cold call potential customers through meetings, office visits, phone calls and emails.
• Prepare and submit sales orders

Skills & Qualifications

• Persistent, disciplined and outgoing attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to self-manage and operate with little supervision
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
• Valid State Drivers License and proof of insurance; The position will require local travel
• One (1) year minimum sales experience in steel, metal, construction and or machining experience required.
• 5+ years of Steel/Metal Industry experience is a major plus
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings is a plus
