Full description of the position

We are looking for a friendly and professional Cashier/Team Member to manage transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Ideal applicants would have previous experience with customer service in a retail environment.

Job Duties

• Provide prompt and courteous service, including greeting customers.
• Operate cash register system accurately and efficiently.
• Perform shift opening and/or closing paperwork, including lottery counts.
• Must stock and re-stock shelves, replenishing product in shelving, coolers and warmers.
• Assist with deli food preparation and cleanup as needed.
• Regular cleaning of restrooms, counters, floors, equipment, gas pumps and organizing shelves.
• Perform additional duties as needed, including receiving orders and exchanging propane tanks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Highly motivated self-starter, who enjoys working independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Good math skills, strong communication and time management skills.
• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
• Familiarity with cash register and POS.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
• High school diploma preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay is dependent on experience.
