Now Hiring - Apartment Leasing Consultant in Columbus, OH

We are looking for a Leasing Consultant to undertake the leasing activities at one of our Columbus area market rate apartment communities. The successful candidate will effectively sell the community, amenities, and secure tenants.

Responsibilities

• Present apartments to prospective clients in a persuasive manner
• Promote unoccupied properties through various media and advertising techniques.
• Evaluate clients’ requirements and financial position to make personalized presentations.
• Provide accurate information on the different features of community and homes.
• Validate application information and references.
• Negotiate leasing terms and complete agreements.
• Keep abreast of the property market status.
• Provide stellar service to existing community residents and assist in retention efforts.
• Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Leasing Consultant or similar
• Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
• Proven track record of successful sales
• Basic understanding of MS Office
• Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills
• Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques
• Customer-focused approach
• YARDI experience a huge plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
