Full description of the position

We are seeking an experienced Leasing Agent/Property Manager to join our rapidly growing Connecticut portfolio. With ongoing value-add projects in amenity spaces and units, you will play a crucial role in planning and facilitating all day-to-day activities associated with being an on-site property manager, while also assisting ownership with these exciting ventures. Previous experience as a Leasing Agent is required, along with administrative office experience, sales, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate should be positive, organized, and self-directed, with strong multitasking abilities. It is essential to work well with residents and maintain positive relationships with contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Interact directly with ownership on a daily basis regarding property operations
• Oversee and coordinate leasing, marketing, and reporting
• Track traffic, tours, and applications effectively
• Review and process rental applications
• Collect rents and make deposits
• Prepare and submit payroll
• Attract and educate new tenants
• Investigate and resolve tenant complaints
• Update and improve the property to increase return on investment
• Supervise contractors for renovations
• Process work order and repair requests in a timely fashion
• Train property staff and enforce property rules and regulations
• Continuously survey building operations and implement efficient strategies

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Leasing Agent is required
• Experience in management and leasing is preferred
• Knowledge of Yardi Voyager and Rent Cafe'
• Familiarity with real estate contracts and leases
• Ability to build rapport with tenants
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary commensurate with experience starting at $55,000.
