Luxury Eyewear Sales Associate

Full time positions available! Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) plus 2-3 days out of the week.

HIRING MULTIPLE SALES ASSOCIATES

Previous optical or sales experience is preferred but not necessary. We will train candidates who are motivated to learn.

Good See Co. is the oldest shop on the Venice Beach Boardwalk. For the last 35 years, we have grown to own the world largest sunglass/eyewear collection. With over 200+ brands (Maybach, Cartier, Gucci, Balenciaga, Balmain, Rayban, Oakley, Moscot, Salt, Jacques Marie Mage, Masunaga) and 70,000 frames in our inventory, we are proud to sell some of the best and highly sought after eyewear brands in the world. We are a one stop shop for all eyewear needs, we cut and mount prescription and sunglass lenses in house as well as tinting and engraving.

This is a full-time position that will require you to work 5 days a week, including weekends starting from 10:00AM ending at 7:00PM.

We are a small team and therefore are looking for a good team player with a positive attitude. Must be able to work on your own and assist team members at other times. If you are looking for a long term position and interested in gaining a substantial amount of knowledge/experience regarding the optical industry, this is your place!

Primary duties will include but are not limited to:

-Customer engagement (greeting customers and successful sales closing techniques)

-Assisting customers with sunglasses/ eyeglasses selection

-Educating customers on different eyewear brands

-Storing/retrieving eyewear cases

-Opening and closing frame displays

-Eyewear cleaning

-Store maintenance (display cleaning, sweeping, etc)

-Assisting with the opening and closing of the store

-Filling out basic customer information on RX slip forms

-Answering calls (forwarding to proper team member if needed)

Qualifications:

- Sales driven is a plus!

- Motivated to learn

- Displays strong work ethic: punctuality, professionalism, honesty, reliability

- Casual attire but presentable appearance

- Energetic and a peoples person

- Positive personality and comfortable engaging customers

- Consistent and reliable attendance (reliable transportation)

- Comfortable working with high end brands

- Excellent customer service skills with strong communication skills

- Organization skills and ability to follow instructions

Requirements:

-Physical requirements: we are open long hours and will be walking, bending, minor lifting, climbing stairs

-Availability requirements: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) plus 3 days out of the week. You will have a set schedule but needs to be flexible to cover other team members when requested.

Our hours are 10:00 am to 7:00 pm (be advised closing time changes depending on season)

- Previous optical or sales experience is a plus but not required

- Compensation: Hourly rate will depend on experience.
