We are looking for a Lead Sales Retail Associate to join our team.

Under direct supervision, the Lead Sales role assists the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with the day- to-day operations of a Kelly-Moore Paint store.
  • Demonstrates and promotes exceptional customer service skills while professionally representing Kelly-Moore Paint Company.
  • Consistently practices Kelly-Moore Paint Company's Signature Service Standards.
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of company products and applications while assisting customers with selection of products through point of sale.
  • Handles payment transactions, cash and charge verifications and deposits, change verifications and safe withdrawals following company protocols.
  • Accurately prepares and/or contributes to the processing of operational and sales documents.
  • Accurately tints paint and eye matches color.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to understand, communicate and implement store and corporate policies.
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate a structured sales process.
  • Valid driver's license is preferred, and a safe driving record and the ability to operate a variety of vehicles including vans and flatbed trucks, if eligible to drive and business needs dictate.
  • Successful completion of the company driver's safety and defensive driving courses as required.
  • English language skills, including a level of reading comprehension, and written and oral language conventions ordinarily attained by receiving a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Math skills of number sense, measurement, and geometry, and math reasoning are ordinarily attained by receiving a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Broad knowledge of the application and use of paint and sundries.
  • Experience in paint/coatings, construction, home improvement industry, and/or retail is preferred.

  • Hiring bonus is paid $250 within 30 days of employment and $250 on paycheck after 3 months of employment. Employee must be active on date of payment to be eligible. Applies to applications received between 7/25/23 and 8/31/2023 on posted openings with hiring bonus language on that specific opening.
The hourly wage range for this position is between $16.83 and $23.56, depending on experience and other qualifications of a successful candidate. This range is for California locations only.
