The Retail Sales Executive / New Business Development role is responsible for driving revenue by selling EWI Worldwide’s services which include retail brand image programs, pop up retail and digital experiences. The Sales Executive develops and fosters relationships with key stakeholders, including Directors of Marketing and other C-Suite executives for our clients. This position requires understanding the client’s business/brand and marketing challenges and is responsible for leading the development of compelling proposals that create value for the client. This role is ultimately responsible for successful execution of client programs and has direct accountability for account financial & operational performance, growth and all program service level agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand relationships at the senior level (CMO, Director of Marketing, CFO) of worldwide corporations.
- Work with EWI’s creative/strategy and operations teams to create and execute solutions and proposals that are relevant to the prospect’s challenges and needs.
- Maintain / Increase program revenue and profitability.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and point of escalation for account team issues, both internally and with clients.
- Foster ongoing relationships with clients to continue to identify new business opportunities.
- Continually work to develop new clients through networking and new business development
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in the industry and in business to help evolve themselves and EWI’s product and service offering.
- Meet or exceed sales and margin objectives.
Required Skills:
- Proven sales experience in a marketing services industry;
- A proven record of sales achievement particularly in the previous down economy;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience managing internal partners through process, particularly within a creative environment
- Polished, professional demeanor, projects confidence and enthusiasm for the business
- Exceptional presentation skills for the ability to interface with senior-level executives.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience selling marketing products or services;
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
- Ability to travel, up to 25%
