SUMMARY:
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus!
Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission. That means there is no limit to what you can earn! We also offer a generous 3 month guaranteed commission ramp in this 40+ hour salaried position, so you can earn while you learn!
Required commute to assigned territory in Middle Tennessee each workday.
The Residential Connectivity Consultant will walk or drive neighborhoods and/or rural areas to prospect for new residential customers daily within the United Communications footprint. The Residential Connectivity Consultant will be interacting with prospects at their door, driveway, or in their homes to offer internet, phone and streaming television service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospecting Activities: Cold calling residential addresses, relationship building, and follow up through email and text with interested prospects post visit.
- Identify and Qualify Opportunities: Qualify prospect and identify their internet, phone and television needs.
- Identify and develop territory knowledge and relationships within the community.
- Demonstrate, Propose, and Present: Demonstrate United Communications solutions to potential customers, answer questions, overcome objections and close sales.
- Territory Planning and Pipeline Management.
JOB QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Personal Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing role such as Sales, Customer Service, or Tech Support
- Comfortable with cold calling customers at door.
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Client-focused with a passion for exceptional customer service.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
- Able to work independently while prioritizing and managing time effectively.
- Upbeat and positive attitude.
- Results-focused and oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- At least Basic level expertise with Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Minimum High School diploma or GED.
- Fluent in English.
Desired Education, Experience, Skills, and Personal Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years Direct Sales Experience.
- Sales experience mainly focused on B2C selling to residential customers, while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with cold calling customers at door.
- Experience in lead tracking and pipeline management within a CRM database.
- Intermediate level expertise with Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Excel.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English).

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
