About the role:

Lumafield is looking for a driven Solutions to join our newly formed Solutions Engineering team. In this role you will work very closely with a wide range of customers to best understand and support their technical needs during the pre-sale, onboarding,training , and post-sale processes. You will become power users of Lumafield products and partner with Engineering, R&D and Product to drive our customer’s success and drive adoption of CT.

The Role:

  • Become a trusted technical advisor by establishing relationships, actively listening and communicating with customers to accomplish their goals.
  • Become an expert on our products and apply our products wherever possible to meet customer objectives across the entire Customer Life Cycle (pre-sales, onboarding, post-sales)
  • Manage customer performance and drive CT adoption through trainings, metrics and customer check-ins
  • Work closely with Engineering, R&D, and Product teams to scope, prototype and develop new solutions or automations where required
  • Work on projects related to pre-sales, account management, customer support, product training, trade shows, and marketing
  • Manage expectations and engagement scope to ensure a clear understanding of technological capabilities and limitations
  • Create a lasting impact on transforming quality manufacturing operations as well as making critical industries safer and more sustainable.

About You:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Plastics Engineering or related engineering field
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Application/Sales Engineering, Customer Success Engineer, Technical Account Management, or other customer-facing technical roles.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills (technical negotiations, formal presentations, etc.)
  • Ability to work cross-collaboratively and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, etc.
  • Familiarity with mechanical hardware and basic software/firmware
  • Can-do attitude with a strong desire and willingness to help customers reach their goals with creative solutions
  • Comfortability in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Understanding of Engineering principles and processes

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Computed Tomography (CT), Hubspot, Onshape, and Adaptability
