_Through our amazing growth and expansion, NY State/Evo Solar is looking for someone to join our Learning and Development team as a Sales Trainer.
This position will be required to work between multiple local offices. Primarily in Staten Island and Secaucus, NJ and Kew Gardens Queens on occasion. _

We are looking for a focused and motivated individual who will work closely with our Sales New Hires and facilitate our weekly training classes, preparing them for a successful career with NY State/Evo Solar.

Sales Trainer Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares new sales representatives by conducting day one onboarding, orientation and their introduction to the sales process during their week of sales training
- Develops individual coaching plans, provides resources and assistance, and schedules orientation field shadow training with senior representatives and team leads.
- Conducts practice sessions for new and current sales employees.
- Observes sales encounters in the field and collects feedback, results, and performance data of sales agents after observations
- Coordinates with other sales trainers and sales managers.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
Sales Trainer Qualifications and Skills:
- Some Experience selling Door to Door (Preferred)
- Advanced customer service and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to facilitate effective training programs
- Outstanding coaching skills
- Great organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to measure performance
- Experience with building and developing teams
Education and Experience Requirements for a Sales Trainer:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field required.
- 2-3 years of experience as a sales coach, training specialist, or in a similar position.
- In possession of certifications in sales training (Preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
