Foodservice Enterprise Sales Representative in Westerville, OH
Position Summary:
R.S. Hanline is seeking an experienced Foodservice Enterprise Sales Rep to grow sales operations at our Shelby, Ohio food processing facility. This role will report to the Director of Sales. The Foodservice Enterprise Sales Rep will be responsible for planning and implementing the corporate sales and marketing plan. The plan will cover both short- and long-range sales, targeted toward existing and new markets.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Maximize customer relationships through growth and profitability along with developing new business through existing or potential partnerships.
- Expand national account and specialty commodity business.
- National accounts – growing and establishing national relationships to expand product mix and offerings. Includes national restaurant groups and commodity chain business.
- Plan, direct and implement account business plans to expand development of existing and new business with specific customers, markets and product mix.
- Responsible for analyzing the business, maximizing profitability through product mix and negotiating contracts.
- Monthly volume reports/analytics utilized for consistent follow up and action items based on report data.
- Utilize internal and external data to develop business reviews to present to customers with specific objectives to grow and expand business.
- Work with management, marketing, and operations to support sales opportunities as well as determine customer needs to enhance the achievement of overall sales efforts
- In collaboration with other key team members, working and understanding opportunities for customers while maximizing operational processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or business administration or equivalent number of years of experience.
- Five years of related experience with progressive sales growth.
- Preferred candidates will have previous experience in produce.
- Proven ability to develop sales strategy and manage sales staff.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to create and give presentations to customers, management, and board.
- Excellence in report preparation and data analysis work.
- Knowledge of CRM systems.
- Minimal travel is required
