The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the orders portfolios for the Special Market and Corporate business channels. This role manages all of the day-to-day support needs required for these two business units which include fielding inquiries, calls, order entry, order maintenance including but not limited to adjusting start/end dates, making style/size changes, providing order status and tracking, review hold orders coordinate expedites on orders and issue return credits.
This role will work closely with the Special Markets team to assist with unique requirements for collegiate and MLB customer orders and develop strong relationships with the head of Corporate teams to support our corporate business needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide information and analysis to customers as well as the sales and management team regarding order fulfillment, order status and inventory availability
- Oversee effective and efficient customer order management
- Ensure on-time delivery as well as maximum order fulfillment.
- Interact with all areas of the company (merchandising, production, finance and operations)
- Team with Outside Sales Representatives to manage accounts within defined sales territories to ensure order fulfillment and timeliness targets are met as well as address day to day tasks and requests.
- Project a friendly, helpful and professional image to our customers during both inbound and outbound phone calls.
- Must address and resolve customer or management concerns in a proactive, quick and professional manner.

- Familiarity with the apparel industry is helpful but not required
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BS/BA or equivalent
- Background in Retail or Wholesale distribution is a plus
- Potential travel up to 10% of the time for events
