The Opportunity:
The Inside Sales Representative reporting to the Inside Sales Manager is a key contributor to the commercial sales strategy for the Fidelis organization. This role is for an inside sales professional who is a hunter and passionate about selling security products, expanding Fidelis presence and driving sales activities within a geographic region. We are seeking candidates who have a rare mix of subject matter expertise, creative skills with a mindset to "do". The ideal candidate will love making connections, conversation and selling.
- Sourcing new sales opportunities primarily through marketing lead follow-up, outbound cold/warm calling, email communication and social media
- Effectively manage timely and diligent follow up through phone, email and social communications with prospects
- Develop a geographic territory, cultivate new relationships, educating prospects, and ultimately driving new sales opportunities.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Identify potential sales opportunities and work with the Regional Sales Manager for further development and closure.
- Work with the Inside Sales Manager to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet qualified opportunity targets
- Present and demonstrate Fidelis solutions/services to information security experts.
- Understand customer needs, requirements and effectively demonstrate strong knowledge of Fidelis’ products.
- Maintain basic level of relevant industry knowledge
Key Requirements include
The successful candidate will have a strong self-initiative and be excited to be a part of a fast paced, growing team within an emerging market and possess:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a business development or inside sales role in technology
- Software sales within a geographic region; network/endpoint security software experience a plus
- Proven track record in outbound prospecting, inside sales and lead generation for Fortune 1000 size companies
- Excellent ability to work/communicate effectively in a team, across the organization and with external customers
- Experience in working with Salesforce.com CRM, [please apply online] Discover.org Sales Engagement Platforms like Outreach.io or SalesLoft preferred.
