• Define cost disclosure strategy, cost and price argumentation for complex global projects
• Ensure and influence project profitability through strategic preparation of cost arguments
• Lead cross-functional alignment and collaboration with sales, engineering, controlling, manufacturing, purchasing, and marketing
• Ensure consistency of cost disclosure with manufacturing processes, cost calculations in multiple plants and purchasing/market data
• Independently prepare and execute cost workshops, cost audits and difficult price negotiations with global customers
• Provide first level support and expertise for sales and project management teams globally
• Coordinate management approval for cost breakdown requests
• Support global and cross-divisional SPA network including best practice sharing

• Ensure alignment with SPA-Coordinators for cross-divisional SPA activities and Sales Organization (EO)
• Provide training to all associates with customer contact (sales, engineering, plants)
• Up to 5% domestic and/or international travel

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Sciences, or Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following areas: Automotive Sales, Plant Controlling, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, or Manufacturing
• 3+ years of experience in pricing and/or cost calculation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the cost structure of automotive products is preferred
• Financial knowledge skills as well as experience in pricing and/or cost calculation desired.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and sharp attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid negotiation skills and the ability to defend calculations with convincing arguments
• Ability to work under pressure and enjoys taking on new challenges
• Experience working in cross-functional and global teams
• Strong computer skills, i.e., MS Office, PowerPoint, and especially Excel.
• English – business fluent
