Job Summary
Lead a team of business analysts and teams that are focused on a specific portion of the go to market systems and tools universe. Responsible for the full project lifecycle from idea to launch including post go live support. Work with required stakeholders, from executives to front line employees, to prioritize requests, define requirements, align to the build process, and define / manage testing. Expert communicator and change management resource.
Responsibilities
Manages team(s) of managers that cuts across a broader, end-to-end process
Drives goals and alignment with OKRs – sets functional and development goals in alignment with business objectives
Develop, coach and motivate team, providing leadership and direction to achieve team engagement, in collaboration with wider people agenda, policies and processes
Model the Equinix cultures and values, including transformational leadership behaviors
Ensures OKRs and KPI's are in place for the team which are appropriate for the needs of the function and its stakeholders
Accountable for resource planning and forecasting (people, financial results etc.) across the team
Works with functional, cross functional and external teams to set strategies for optimal utilization of resources across programs and projects
Proactively identifies potential budget and resource shortfalls and escalates highly complex resource issues, as needed
Drives and influences senior decision making
Solicits stakeholder input to define comprehensive improvement plans that are consistent and drive global standardization. Formulates plans to drive discussion of strategic topics with key stakeholders
Creates and drives stakeholder communications and manages any escalations
Builds and maintains effective working relationships and partnerships with stakeholders
Drives conflict resolution between stakeholders, including executives and cross functional teams
Manages stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions, and resolves complex issues
Completes post deployment analysis, monitoring and control, driving and/or implementing post go live support recommendations to sustain improvements
Creates strategy and direction on change management plans
Assesses post project benefits and success
Drives creation of business requirements from multiple stakeholders, delegating where necessary
Assesses solutions from multiple angles and able to balance customer, and strategy priorities
May design or improve business processes utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology
Design and oversee user acceptance testing plans
Oversees the development of test cases
Assesses testing progress, recommending areas of improvement
Resolves testing issues that may prevent solution from being deployed
Qualifications
15+ years of systems and tools deployment expertise, preferably in a global company
10+ years of experience in CRM or CPQ systems and tools deployment and enhancements
5+ years experience leading or managing a team
Bachelor’s Degree in a business management/analytical field preferred (e.g. Business or Business Operations Management)
PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification – desireable
Agile experience preferred
Expert communications skills with demonstrated ability to present business process optimization content to all levels
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a global, distributed, and cross-functional environment
Ability to provide analytical insights that helps leadership make informed decisions and influence stakeholders
Expert change management experience - inspires behavior change through vision, motivating teams, building skills, planning initiatives, and designating priorities
Decisive when faced with ambiguity
Focus on execution and results – establishing high standards for performance, setting goals and developing plans, following through and holding people accountable for results
