SUMMARY:
The Outside Sales Representative is primarily responsible for generating new sales and maintaining sales accounts of the Company related to the Company’s FieldForce Equipment Sales & Rentals business unit and its municipal / industrial services. This role includes active sales calling effort on a daily basis and coordination of various aspects of proposal and estimate preparation, delivery and tracking of proposal results. This position reports to the Director of Sales.
STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS:

- Identify and establish contact with potential customers.
- Schedule and perform product demonstrations and/or educational sessions with potential customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and current customers.
- Attend industry trade shows to identify potential leads and sales opportunities.
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
- Maintain active prospect list, sales call plan, strategic sales approach.
- Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific industry, region, or sector.
- Acts as proposal manager for all requests for proposal, coordinating job assignments and accountabilities;
- Coordinates due diligence, site evaluations, job walks etc. as required;

- Prepares proposals and cost estimates in accordance with company guidelines;
- Finalizes Work Orders, seeking proper approvals before submitting to customers;
- Contributes to the effectiveness of the sales & business development team, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member;
- Reports weekly tracking of sales calls and opportunities;
- Compiles and keeps current approved price schedules;
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a functional position with no personnel reporting to it.

Approximately 75% travel to customer locations and job sites; 25% Office Environment. Occasional overnight travel required.
