Position Summary/Objective: The Senior Director of Sales will oversee the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans to achieve sales targets within the areas of Membership Sales and Premium Sales. What would you do?

1. Achieve and exceed yearly team revenue goals.
2. Establish the management process for the Premium Services teams, including service expectations, pipeline management, activity standards, and career development.
3. Collaborate in the development and implementation of sales strategies including but not limited to sales/service campaigns, lead management, and sales cadences.
4. Take an active leadership role in weekly sales meetings, both department and individual, to make sure all sales executives are being held accountable and pacing towards their individual goals.
5. Provide strategic support for key relationships, pitches, and negotiations
6. Develop and implement sales strategies and forecasts to meet or exceed ticket sales revenue benchmarks in the areas of suite lease and premium hospitality sales.
7. Work with Business Intelligence to identify prospects and distribute lists to sales account executives while monitoring performance and adjusting commercial categories when necessary
8. Collaborate across departments to develop and execute comprehensive new sales campaigns that drive awareness and create urgency within the marketplace.
9. Actively support the development of Premium Sales staff members by mentoring, providing direction, and performance feedback.
10. Drive consistent and frequent communication about product offerings and campaigns to staff members across the organization.
11. Build and maintain long-term relationships with business partners, day-to-day contacts, and senior leadership team.

4. Ability to work extended hours, which may include nights, weekends and holidays.
5. Ability to develop strong professional relationships internally and externally.
6. Ability to think creatively and develop strategy.
7. Knowledge of managerial best practices.
Experience: Minimum seven (7) years of experience working in professional sales and service preferred. Minimum two (2) years of management/supervisory experience preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility, if any: This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. In addition to working office hours staff may be required to work Timberwolves and Lynx games as well as external events including but not limited to: charity and networking events. Work is both sedentary and active in nature. The working environment is generally favorable, and office lighting and temperature are adequate. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in a sports arena, which includes bleachers/steps as well as moderate noise levels.

Physical Demands
Work is generally sedentary in nature. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment. Staff will occasionally ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the arena both on event days and non-event days. Staff will frequently move boxes of merchandise and equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
