SUMMARY OF JOB:
The primary purpose of the Senior Living Sales Specialist is to achieve sales of existing independent living residences at the Lafayette campus and to actively participate in the sales strategies and tactics to achieve occupancy objectives and all key metrics as defined in the Marketing and Sales Plan.
Meets or exceeds all growth and development targets and actively establishes and maintains market awareness throughout the public community. Represents the organization and its services in a competent, professional, and responsive manner. Maintains a standard of high-quality customer service. Assertively works within the defined sales process and helps prospective residents and family members in the decision-making process. Understands the needs of prospective residents and their families and works to provide access to an appropriate solution to their wants/needs.
Within the defined sales process, conducts pre-qualification screens for financial and physical/cognitive appropriateness, and ensures the accuracy and completion of required paperwork or directs the prospective resident to the appropriate financial/medical assessor and care level. Provides a superior customer service experience to prospective residents, their families, and current community residents. Is knowledgeable of the state and organizational regulations that govern the Redeemer Health senior living communities.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- College degree preferred, comparable sales experience will be considered.
- 3-5 years proven sales experience within the senior services industry.
- Strong customer service background and a passion for working with the elderly.
- Proficiency with a computer and Microsoft Office. Experience with customer relationship database software a plus.
- Ability to work as part of a team, willing to cross-train and cross-sell as needed.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a good listener with the ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and ability to perceive change as an opportunity for growth.
- Must be agile and able to think on feet.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex healthcare needs to team members and consumers.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and evening appointments
LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license and access to automobile.
