Pacific Historic Parks is the leading organization supporting significant historical sites in the Pacific for future generations. Through education, interpretive programs, research, preservation, and restoration, we work to perpetuate the memory of events and honor the people involved in these Pacific historic locations.

Working at the Diamond Head State Monument really gives you the opportunity to be a part of preserving a major piece of Hawaiian history. Nearly 1 million people from nearly every continent visit the Diamond Head State Monument each year, and we are looking for the most enthusiastic and energetic people to assist them at our kiosk.

This position is in a kiosk which is exposed to the prevailing weather.

Job Duties

• Greet visitors as they enter the store in a welcoming manner;
• Strong familiarity with store products and WWII History;
• Accurately process guest purchases using cash, debit and credit cards;
• Sell PHP memberships to customers;
• Encourage guests to make donations to the park;
• Keep store merchandized and looking attractive at all times.
• These positions are all day shift positions that typically end no later than 4pm.

What we Need You to Know How To Do!

• One Year of Retail, Cashier or Customer Service Experience
• High school diploma or GED required, Some college preferred
• Ability to work in a professional manner with a highly diverse group of clientele, including non-English speakers;
• Bi-lingual ability a plus!
