Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Sales Manager to lead a team of 1099 sales professionals in achieving sales growth and fostering strong relationships with our Lowe's customer. As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership to our 1099 sales team and driving the accomplishment of sales and profitability objectives. Your expertise in building customer relationships and understanding their needs will be crucial in ensuring the consistent delivery of value, sales growth, and exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties:

  • Motivate and Encourage Sales Team: You will be responsible for motivating and inspriring the 1099 sales professionals to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Sales and Operational Analysis:Review and analyze sales and operational data to project sales, determine profitability, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Sales Insights and Training: Analyze sales data and trends to provide valuable insights for training and development purposes.
  • Guidance and Performance Support: Offer guidance and support to the 1099 sales professionals, ensuring they perform at their best and achieve established sales goals.
  • Field Visits: Condust field visits with the 1099 sales professionals to assess performance, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Product and Industry Knowledge: Maintain an in-dept understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their value to cusomers.
Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Education and/or Experience – 3 - 5 years outside sales management experience with a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role, understanding of sales performance metrics and sales forecasting. Experience selling products in the flooring industry is a plus.
  • Analytical and Reasoning Skills – Experience compiling and analyzing data to improve sales.
  • Computer skills – Good working knowledge of spreadsheets, email, database, and video and audio communication. Proficiency in using sales management software and CRM systems.
  • Language skills – Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write letters and prepare other documents as needed. Proofreads work.
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide for basic algebraic and calculations.
  • Ability to drive and maintain a driver’s license with personal car insurance.
  • Communication Skills – Excellent communication skills, including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers, co-workers, and subordinates; includes the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
  • Vision – Ability to view documents, multiple screens, and read handwritten documents.
  • Leadership – Experience managing or supervising multiple locations and teams remotely. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Travel – Up to 75% travel.
