Commercial Client Specialist– FULL TIME
Desired Outcome of Role:
· To serve, retain and cross sell into small and mid-market accounts of the firm in alignment with our client experience standards and firm wide procedures.
Qualities and Characteristics Necessary:
· Energetic and thrives in a fast-paced seasonal environment such as open enrollments
· Enjoys using automation and technology to enhance the client experience and internal efficiencies
· Thrives working and collaborating with a team both internally and with client’s teams.
· FL 4-40 License is required, 2-20 Preferred
· Experience in Safety, Loss Control and Alternative Risk Financing is a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Service, lead and manage accounts
- Renewal Process Management
- Claims Intake and Follow Up
- Process renewal and change requests
- Prepare renewal on an annual basis, offering recommendations to clients based on analysis of client’s insurance needs
- Assists clients with reporting claims
- Ensure that the agency goal of 95% retention is met. Proactively retaining accounts; following up on cancellations and Broker of Record letters, according to our firm’s procedures and standards
Account Rounding:
- Actively solicit and processes additional types of coverage for all accounts and growing the book of business
Teamwork:
- Be a part of our BHF community by always being courteous and build effective relationships with clients, co-workers, carriers and other business contacts
- Share knowledge and skills with others including professional development opportunities
- Keep up to date and current with knowledge regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverage’s and technology.
Performance Standards:
- Adherence to the firm’s procedures and guidelines
- 95% retention rate of existing accounts
- Responsive to client, carrier and management requests
- Effective team player to both the department and the firm as a whole
- Continuous effort to improve knowledge and performance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $35,000.00 per year
