Sales Engineer

As a manufacturer’s representative with over 25 years representing fine, reputable HVAC manufacturers in the tristate region, we are seeking the right person to fill this immediate need.

If you have familiarity / experience with engineered Commercial HVAC equipment sales, and proven experience managing applied HVAC projects coupled with superior customer service skills, this is the position for you.

Responsibilities include:

· Estimate, prepare and sell our product lines. Working closely with mechanical contractors, engineers, construction managers and owners

· Review plans and specifications, determine scope of work and required contents of the estimate

· Create, send and manage requests for pricing

· Interpret plans and specs, review design options and recommend best solutions

Skill necessary to perform the work include:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, meticulous attention to detail required

· Frequently work within tight time restraints to quickly place bids on jobs

· Develop and maintain relationships with owners, engineers, mechanical contractors

· Use company’s computer programs and possess knowledge of estimating software and be able to learn our vendor applications

· Must have bachelor’s degree in related field such as engineering or construction or five years sales and/or estimating experience.
