Description and Requirements

Lenovo’s Solutions and Services Group (SSG), which provides end-to-end IT solutions and services for organizations at any scale, is currently looking for an experienced Solutions and Services Sales Executive for its Global Accounts Segment.

The Services Sales Executive will be responsible for selling an expanding services portfolio of services surrounding Lenovo Data Center Solutions, directly to selected global customers and with our partners. These services include but are not limited to: Professional Services that are required to Design, Deploy, and Support of Lenovo products, Premier Support, Service Contract Upgrades, Protection Services, Sustainability Solutions, Migration Services and Maintenance along with the Lenovo TruScale As a Services solution. This client-facing sales role also welcome candidates with end-user computing services and solutions sales experience, in addition to the aforementioned Data-Centered ones.

Successful candidates will work with the Account team, Industry Solutions team and Technical Organization to own end-to-end sales engagement for customers. The candidate will also evaluate customer opportunities as presented in Request for Purchases/ Request for Quotations (RFPs/RFQs) or engagements from the Services and Hardware Sales teams and use this information to manage the end-to-end sales engagement process to ensure we meet the customer’s requirements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, develop, and close new large enterprise opportunities within the territory across multiple verticals
  • Achieve revenue and profitability goals for Lenovo while driving growth across multiple product sets
  • Develop, implement, and execute an effective sales strategy to achieve sales goals
  • Develop C level relationships and serve as a trusted consultant to customers
  • Understand and adapt to Lenovo’s ongoing product and services developments
  • Lead a cross-functional team within the company to keep deals moving through the funnel
  • Ensure that our customers receive world-class sales and customer service
  • Effectively and consistently use the Lenovo CRM and other reporting tools to track key sales metrics and consistently meet those metrics

Basic Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional work experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise (data center and end-user) technology and services sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience selling technology services and solutions
  • Consultative selling approach
  • Proven ability to develop strategies to penetrate and sell to large and global companies

The base salary range for this position in CA, CO, Jersey City - NJ, NV, Ithaca - NY, NYC, WA, is $127k - $170k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on [1] [please apply online]
